"Fire" and "heat" were the key words for this weekend's celebration of area Firefighters aboard Intrepid. But high temps did not stop the crowds from enjoying numerous demonstrations and expressing support for New York's Bravest. The newly commissioned fire boat, the Three Forty Three, in honor of the 343 Firefighters lost on 9/11, was open for tours after leading other fire boats up the Hudson River earlier in the day.
